Nature is the greatest teacher, so I primarily paint from life and in natural light. I love to set up still lifes or models on my porches. I have an easel in the trunk of my car at all times and a sketch book in my purse.
I am blessed to have a studio with lots of windows and sky lights for natural light for models and still lifes. This space is also great for teaching.
Painting in Apalach is as joyful as the location.
